Nürnburgring Endurance Series- Race 8
The Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, German: Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie) is an organisation of motorsport clubs of which each hosts one event of a nine-race series held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Participants of NLS races range from amateurs in small road legal cars with rollcages and harnesses to professional factory teams racing Group GT3 cars. The NLS series is closely associated with the 24 Hours Nürburgring, as it has similar rules (mostly), and mainly the same participants. In the calendar, several weeks around the 24h date in May/June are taken off to allow teams to prepare for the 24h, and to fix their cars afterwards. The 24h is not part of the championship anymore, though.
Racing at the legendary Nordschleife – the Nürburgring Endurance Series takes place eight times a year at the most challenging racetrack in the world. Up to 165 race cars will go hunting for points and trophies in the Green Hell. The following info applies: Saturday, 24 km laps, always fan-friendly.
Race action with an enormous field: That’s what you can look forward to the races of Nürburgring Endurance Series. Supersportscars by professional teams participate along with touring cars. Divided into two dozens of different groups all of the 165 race cars start together and compete for the win of their valuation class. With the admission ticket, spectators can access all open grandstands, the paddock and the starting grid.
