This 1974 Holden Kingswood is a sound example of an all-time Aussie great, with a high factory specification. It is equipped with a high-compression 202ci (3.3-litre) straight-six ‘red’ motor and three-speed ‘Trimatic’ automatic transmission. The vehicle retains its original badging and brightwork. Upgrades include modern suspension uprights and thicker sway bars. Being a late-model HQ, it also features adjustable ‘safety’ headrests, larger and more powerful brakes, and numerous structural improvements over earlier models. An aftermarket CD player has been installed under the dashboard.
